EXPOSURE started its efforts to "get art out there" in Pondicherry, India as the PondyART Foundation. Now we are based in Paris, France and finding new ways to increase the visibility of artists, especially photographers, and the arts by working in public spaces creatively and imaginatively.
We produce cultural events customized to content, space and a public audience. We also seek out innovative ways to promote and support emerging artists and offer one annual grant for emerging photographers.

The PondyART show at the Old Distillery in Pondicherry is probably one of the most ambitious and wonderful initiatives that I have ever been part of. The use of the location and the display...with all the added collateral events has made this one of the most courageous, experimental and important happenings to engage the public in recent times. It will be a difficult bench mark for others in bigger cities to match up to in years to come.
